Completed this study today in graphite. It's done off of an old academic drawing by my late mentor Leonid Steele, who in my opinion is one of the best drawers I have known. His drawings in my opinion are even better than most I see in classical museums. He was a great master and his work deserves to be celebrated. I copied his drawing in honor of my late mentor, and also to learn more about drawing as well as the figure. There is a ton you can learn from the masters. Leonid Steele was certainly a great master artist.
