24 x 30 acrylic on canvas

a surreal/symbolic landscape

The leaves floating on the lake represents broken dream for each leaf, some are grounded(completely given up), others are still floating around with which they are still trying to achieve their goal, the journey itself is an experience in life, though many realistically don't achieve their dreams (which ever they may be), the boat represents that there is still hope you will get somewhere if you keep trying. The journey itself is an experience which you should appreciate whether you reach your goal or not, still it's best to not give up and keep trying, go against the odds, because the only way you win big is if you make big bets.

I can imagine how long it will take putting all those dots (tiny things) in the river! Great work!

thank you, this was actually a work I started over a year ago and was about to throw away but my mom told me not to, so I came back to it a week ago and finished it... I guess when you get back to paintings and finish them up, sometimes they work out for ya.
